Why Hello... We’re from Alaska!

It’s finally February and 2021 is moving along fairly well for both Michelle and Suzanne to this point. One thing that Michelle is particularly looking forward to is going back to visit her house in Alaska, and that trip is the inspiration for today’s episode. Having lived for many years in Alaska, our hosts have received a number of interesting comments and questions about the state, and today they share these along with their responses and, of course, their many stories that just naturally spring up during the discussion. They begin by reviewing their first experiences in Alaska and then engage in responding to the many questions that have come their way over the years. In the process, they recount stories of ‘Binky’, the reality of wildlife in Alaska, and bear and moose encounters. They also offer some insight into its geography, its state bird and flower, termination dust, and some of the great aspects of Alaska. Our hosts also review a few of the weirder questions and comments they have received before finishing up by expressing the pride they have in this great state. Today’s episode really is all about everything you wanted to know about Alaska that some people weren’t afraid to ask, and Suzanne and Michelle take the opportunity to set the record straight in the most heartfelt and humorous way imaginable.
